BSB’s International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma students achieved an average score of 35.4 points, well above the global average of 30.6. More than 93% of students surpassed international benchmarks, with several earning 40 points or higher.

Principal and CEO, James Penstone, emphasised that these results reflect not only academic excellence but also the values of courage, care, and curiosity. Graduates are now set to continue their studies at leading universities worldwide in fields such as medicine, engineering, politics, the arts, and environmental science.

A Levels and BTEC Success

BSB’s A Level cohort achieved a 96% pass rate, with 61% of grades at A*–B, significantly above UK averages. Top-performing students achieved as many as three A* grades.

Vocational pathways also delivered excellent outcomes:
– BTEC Level 3: 100% pass rate, 60% of grades at Distinction* or Distinction.
– BTEC Level 2: 100% pass rate, 72% of grades at Distinction* or Distinction.

Strong GCSE Outcomes

At GCSE level, 94% of all grades were at Grade 4 or above, compared with the UK national average of 67.4%. An impressive 57% of grades were awarded at Grade 7 or higher, demonstrating BSB’s strong academic foundations.

Student Destinations

BSB graduates continue to secure places at top universities in the UK (Oxford, Imperial College London, UCL, Edinburgh, St Andrews), across Europe (Delft, Erasmus, KU Leuven, ESADE), and in North America (Boston University, McGill, Toronto, UBC).

Students pursue a wide range of disciplines including medicine, law, computer science, economics, sustainable development, creative arts, and engineering.

In addition, many students choose alternative pathways such as apprenticeships, pilot training, or Gap Years, reflecting BSB’s commitment to guiding every learner towards the right personal and professional future.
