Preschool Programme – Bilingual Immersion from 20 Months

Pre-nursery (M0)
Children are welcomed into pre-nursery from 20 months of age as of September 1st. At this age, the school offers various activities (psychomotor development, musical awakening, group work, graphomotor skills, logic games, etc.) aimed at supporting learning in four main areas: personal, social and emotional development, communication and language, logical thinking, and physical development.

Preschool (M1,M2,M3)
From age 2, children receive daily bilingual education (FR/EN or FR/NL) during the three years of preschool. Children explore sensory experiences, language, early writing, mathematics, world discovery, music and arts, all through different themes developed throughout the school year.

Primary School Programme – Belgian Curriculum, Cambridge and Bilingual

> Ages 6 to 12

The primary curriculum exceeds the requirements of the official programme. Students also benefit from a complete intellectual, artistic, physical, musical, and moral education, essential for their personal development.

Bilingualism is present throughout. By the end of the cycle, students often achieve a level allowing them to sit for primary certification exams from several linguistic communities (French-speaking, Dutch-speaking, and English-speaking).

In a joyful and personalised environment, students learn through high-quality traditional teaching methods. Lessons are delivered in both languages (French-Dutch or French-English). Teachers are committed to helping each child excel and develop autonomy in their learning journey.

Secondary Programme – Trilingual Belgian Curriculum and IB Candidate

> Ages 12 to 18 ans

Since September 2022, Agnes School has launched its first cohort of secondary students, with new grades opening each year. A trilingual curriculum is offered.

Students are introduced to a third language from the first year of secondary school. They receive 60% of their classes in French, 30% in second language (Dutch or English), and 10% in third language (English or Dutch).

Currently, secondary school classes include students aged 12 to 15, and will expand up to 17 years old by 2027, as a new grade level opens each year.
Agnes School is an IB World School, authorised to offer the IB Diploma Programme in the final two years of secondary education.
As such, the school fully embraces the International Baccalaureate philosophy, based on a holistic education that combines academic rigour, international-mindedness, and personal development.

During this open morning, parents will see the school in action (real life) with happy students, passionate teachers, and enthusiastic parents.

Uniforms

Younger pupils wear coloured smocks during the day. Each level is symbolised by a colour:

• M0: Yellow
• M1: Red
• M2: Blue
• M3: Green

The uniform is an integral part of the educational project and is detailed in the school rules. Students arrive at school wearing their uniform. Clothes must be labelled with the student’s name (preferably sewn in).

1. Registration and Re-registration Fees
   • Initial registration: €750 (non-refundable).
   • Deposit for new student with siblings already enrolled: €500 (refunded upon student departure, unless in case of cancellation).
   • Annual re-registration: €600 advance per child, deducted from the following year’s tuition (non-refundable in case of cancellation).
2. Annual Flat Fees
   • Accident insurance: €12 (covers damages caused and incurred).
   • Service fees (communication, database, printing, etc.): €35.
   • Educational materials:
     • Preschool: €80
     • Primary: €240
     • Secondary: €180
   • Daily organic fruit (M0 to P5): €90 for primary / €45 for preschool.
   • School trips:
     • M0: €35
     • M1 to P3: €45
     • P4 to P6 (with overnight stay): €97
     • Secondary: amount to be announced.
   • Educational excursions and activities:
     • Primary: €35
     • Secondary: €90
   • Sports day (M1 to P6): €25.
   • Solidarity contribution (voluntary membership): Minimum €20/family (refundable upon request before 15/10/24).
3. Mandatory Uniform
   • Preschool: Smock (€33).
   • Primary and Secondary: Grey, burgundy and white uniform (rates available on the website).

1. Extracurricular Services
   • Hot meals (annual, registered per weekday):
     • M0-M1: €5.90/meal
     • M2-P5: €7.00/meal
     • Occasional: €9.50/meal
   • Supervised study (4–5 p.m. or 5:30 p.m., depending on level):
     • P1-P5: €90 per period/day
     • P6-S3: €135 to €260 per period/day
   • After-school care (4–6 p.m. or Wednesday afternoon):
     • Rates from €70 to €360 per day/period
     • Occasional: €5/hour
     • After 6 p.m.: €20 per 15 minutes
   • Extracurricular activities: Rates available in the brochure.
2. Other Occasional Fees
   • School photos, events, Christmas trees, recorders, etc.: variable prices depending on activity.
   • Participation in sacraments and parent formation sessions.
   • Administrative fees for late registration changes: €20/child.

The school is located in the heart of Brussels, across two nearby campuses. The preschool and primary school (M0 to P5) are located in Etterbeek. The secondary school (P6 to final year) is located in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre.
