What is the National Curriculum of England?

The National Curriculum of England is the official educational framework set by the UK government. Used in all public schools in England and many international English-speaking schools worldwide, it defines required subjects, learning goals and assessment standards at each educational stage.

This curriculum is clearly and progressively structured, from primary to secondary school, with Key Stages corresponding to specific age groups. It aims to provide a strong foundation of academic, social and cultural skills, while promoting critical thinking, creativity and logical reasoning.
