List of Japanese International Schools in Brussels and Surrounding Areas

Founded in 1979, the Japanese School of Brussels is the only international school in Belgium offering exclusively the Japanese national curriculum. Located in the Auderghem district of Brussels, it welcomes students aged 4 to 16, primarily from expatriate Japanese families. The school strictly follows the Japanese academic calendar, starting in April and ending in March.

All teaching is conducted in Japanese to ensure a smooth reintegration into the Japanese education system after families return to Japan. The school thus provides expatriate Japanese families with vital educational continuity for their children.
