The École Française Internationale (EFI) in Brussels has confirmed that it permanently closed at the beginning of July 2023.
As a result, EFI will not reopen for the 2023–2024 academic year.

This French international school, located in Uccle, first opened its doors in September 2019. It had plans to expand by launching a middle and high school by 2024.
However, after four years in operation, the school has made the decision to close.

The Lycée Français Jean Monnet once again becomes the only international school in Brussels to offer the official French national curriculum.
