Empowering Children Through Holistic Development – Seminars
Montessori House Brussels will soon be hosting a series of Montessori-based seminars at its campus, designed to support parents and caregivers in fostering children’s holistic development through practical, home-applicable strategies.
As part of its commitment to supporting the child in all aspects of development, the school is organizing a series of Montessori-based seminars focused on key areas of children’s growth and development. These interactive seminars will provide parents and caregivers with practical tools and strategies rooted in Montessori philosophy, which can easily be applied in the home environment.

The proposed seminar topics are as follows:
- Emotional Intelligence and Empathy
This seminar will explore the vital role of emotional intelligence in child development, offering Montessori-based techniques adults can use to help children recognize, understand, and manage their emotions. Attendees will learn how to cultivate empathy and build strong, respectful relationships among children and adults. - How to Foster Focus and Concentration
Focused attention is a cornerstone of Montessori education. This session will provide practical tools and “at home” strategies to encourage periods of deep concentration, reduce distractions, and create an environment that supports children’s natural ability to focus on meaningful activities. - Boost Fine and Gross Motor Skills
This workshop will highlight Montessori materials and exercises that promote the development of both fine and gross motor skills. Participants will gain hands-on experience with activities that support hand-eye coordination, balance, and overall physical confidence. - Nutrients for the Brain: How to Stimulate the Child Without Overwhelming Them
This seminar will address how to provide cognitive stimulation in a balanced way, ensuring children receive the appropriate challenges without unnecessary stress. The session will also include guidance on creating a stimulating yet supportive learning environment and touch upon the importance of nutrition for brain health.
Each seminar will include opportunities for discussion, Q&A, and resource sharing.
