Academic Programmes at BEPS International School

Early Years Programme
> Ages 2½ to 5
> Early Years 1, 2 & 3
In the Early Years classes (EY1, EY2 & EY3), children develop a love of learning, curiosity, and self-confidence. This first school experience introduces them to their lifelong learning journey. BEPS is committed to giving children the best possible start.
Each child brings their own personality and learns at their own pace. To support this, BEPS is proud to be one of the first schools to adopt the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC).
This is an innovative, research-based curriculum that reflects best international practices and supports the developmental needs of children aged 2 to 5.

Primary Programme
> Ages 5 to 11 ans
> Year 1 – Year 6
At BEPS, primary students follow the UK National Curriculum for literacy and numeracy, and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for all other subjects. Lower Primary includes children aged 5 to 7 (Years 1–2), and Upper Primary includes children aged 7 to 11 (Years 3–6).
This is a subject-specific curriculum for history, science, geography, arts, technology, and ICT. It fosters critical thinking and high academic standards while promoting international-mindedness and personal growth. French, music, physical education, and ICT are taught by specialist teachers.

Middle Years Programme
> Ages 11 to 16
> MYP 1-MYP 5
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) is designed for students aged 11 to 16. This challenging, internationally-minded, and concept-based programme supports the development of engaged and active learners.
With specific learning goals—both disciplinary and personal—it provides a clear structure for students to acquire knowledge, skills, and deep understanding, while building connections across subject areas.
The school ensures that students grasp key concepts effectively and develop the skills needed to become lifelong learners.

IB Diploma Programme + IB Career-related Programme
> Ages 16 to 18
> IB DP/IB CP
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is designed for students aged 16 to 19 and provides a balanced education that fosters in-depth and broad learning. It promotes intellectual, physical, emotional, and ethical development.
The IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) integrates IB values and meets the needs of students pursuing a career-focused path. It prepares them for higher education, vocational training, or the workforce, while strengthening their confidence and professional skills.
