As the International School of Flanders is one school with two campuses (ISF Waterloo and ISF Tervuren), both follow the same academic and enrichment programmes.
The school follows the UK national literacy and numeracy curriculum and the International Primary Curriculum for all other core subjects. ISF Tervuren is accredited by CIS (Council of International Schools), BSO (British Schools Overseas) and COBIS (Council of British International Schools).

Daycare
> Ages six weeks to 2,5 years
The ISF Daycare facility accommodates up to 46 children aged six weeks old. The Tervuren Daycare/creche is housed in Boch House and occupies the entirety of the original village nursery school building but has been renovated, designed, and equipped to enhance children’s visual stimulus in a scientifically positive way.
The professional staff of the daycare speaks at minimum English, French and Dutch, so the children are exposed to all languages throughout the day.
ISF Tervuren International Daycare is supervised by Kind & Gezin (Flanders’ Child & Family Agency).

Early years
> age 2,5 to 4
The ISF Pre-School sets an excellent foundation for a lifetime of learning, catering for children between 2 ½ – 4 years of age.
The Pre-School is located in Van Dyck Villa. Early Years follows the International Primary Curriculum for Early Years.
This is an internationally oriented program based on thematic units. The children follow a two-year program, covering six different IPC Units.

Primary school
> Ages 4 – 11
In Lower Primary, ISF Tervuren focuses on a wide variety of learning activities, and students develop through each stage at their own pace.
As the children develop through each stage, their work becomes more structured, without losing the fun element of learning.
In Upper Primary,students are encouraged to develop at their own pace and challenge themselves and realise their full potential. ISF Tervuren individualises its programs to cater for children with differing abilities and potential.
ISF Tervuren offers the International Primary Curriculum, which is an internationally minded, thematic based curriculum that encourages students to develop the ability to learn and acquire the skills needed to become life-long learners.
