Tutti Frutti School Curriculum – Brussels
Preschool – Immersion
> Ages 3 to 6
Located in a warm and welcoming house, the kindergarten provides a playful, multisensory, and child-centred approach. Each class has a maximum of 12 children.
Classrooms are places of language, artistic, culinary, and musical immersion.
The educational approach encourages bilingual development, inner motivation, multicultural awareness, and motor, psychomotor, intellectual and social growth.
Each teacher teaches in their native language, ensuring total language immersion.
Primary school – Immersion
> Ages 6 to 12
In primary school, immersion is ensured through exposure to two or three languages from the first year. Each primary class includes a maximum of 12 students to tailor learning and meet individual needs.
The school offers an active, open, differentiated, and multidisciplinary pedagogy focused on both explicit and implicit learning. Curiosity, enthusiasm, creativity, and contact with nature are highly encouraged.
The children are registered with the Vlaamse Gemeenschap (Flemish Community of Belgium).
Each trimester, Tutti Frutti conducts assessments to evaluate the children’s learning progress.
At the end of primary grade six, children take tests in French to obtain the CEB (Certificat d’Études de Base).
Tutti Frutti children are fully prepared to join both the Belgian and international education systems.

Diploma and Certification – CEB, Recognised in Belgium and Internationally
At the end of sixth grade, Tutti Frutti students take the Certificat d’Études de Base (CEB), the official exam organized by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.
The CEB certifies that the student has acquired essential competencies in French, mathematics, sciences, and general knowledge. It marks a key step in the Belgian education system, ensuring that every child possesses the foundational knowledge needed to continue their studies.
Earning the CEB enables students to move on to Belgian secondary education. It is also recognized by many international schools, giving Tutti Frutti students access to both the Belgian school system and other education systems around the world.
Thanks to Tutti Frutti’s immersive bilingual pedagogy, students not only gain strong academic skills but also a broad linguistic and cultural awareness, making their transition to secondary school smooth—whatever path they choose.
The strengths of Tutti Frutti School
Why Choose Tutti Frutti School in Brussels?
Tutti Frutti offers a dynamic and nurturing learning environment. Since its founding in 1997, the school has promoted a lively, active, and open pedagogy that supports students’ growth through language learning and a personalized educational approach.
Here are three major strengths that make Tutti Frutti a unique environment for children aged 3 to 12.
Who is Tutti Frutti for?
Tutti Frutti is particularly well-suited to families based in southern Brussels who are looking for authentic language immersion in a caring, very small-scale environment. It is ideal for German, English or Italian-speaking families who want their child’s language taught by a native speaker from preschool onwards.
Belgian or francophone families seeking genuine bilingualism for their children while staying within the official Belgian curriculum (CEB diploma) will also find it an excellent fit.
